We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: our team has won the Blackbox.ai developer track at the RAISE Summit Hackathon in Paris! This is a major milestone for us and a powerful validation of the code security technology we’ve been building.
Held in Paris, RAISE Summit has emerged as one of the largest and most influential AI conferences in Europe. The 2025 edition brought together over 5,000 attendees, including researchers, founders, investors, developers, and enterprise leaders all united by a shared vision to advance responsible AI.
As part of the summit, lablab.ai hosted a massive hackathon with 6 distinct tracks, each focused on a different theme (developer tools, e-commerce, and more). This hackathon was record-breaking, drawing over 6,000 participants and resulting in 218 final submissions from more than 900 teams. That makes it the largest AI hackathon to date.
For the developer tools track, we built a Security Copilot GitHub App powered by our proprietary remediation technology. This tool enhances developer workflows by intelligently identifying and suggesting fixes for vulnerabilities in pull requests, and offering targeted training to help developers understand and avoid similar mistakes, in a seamless, automated way.
Our entry impressed the judges for its technical sophistication, accuracy, and real-world applicability. Winning this track demonstrates and validates the practical value of giving developers AI-powered remediation and security training within their flow, so they can commit more secure code without slowing down.
In addition to credits awarded for use with Blackbox.ai, we’re most proud of the industry recognition for the strength of our platform and its ability to solve real problems for developers. This win demonstrates how necessary targeted, contextualized code security is in overcoming a substantial obstacle that many development and security teams fight to overcome every day.
This win validates our mission and energizes us to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI and software remediation.
We’re incredibly grateful to Blackbox.ai, RAISE Summit, and all the organizers and judges who made the event possible, we had so much fun building the tool and engaging with the community. Massive thank you to our amazing team for putting in the work and building something truly groundbreaking, and to the broader community for the support and inspiration.
